The Innovation Center is a strategic initiative designed to catalyze a high-impact ecosystem within Teknopark Izmir. Its core mission is to leverage regional dynamics and human capital to establish the most powerful technology hub in the region. Signed in 2012, it holds the distinction of being Turkey’s first "Guided Project" supported by development agencies, specifically engineered to transform academic potential into industrial strength.

  • Role: Foundational Team Member & Ecosystem Architect

  • Core Focus: Ecosystem Design, Strategic Funding, and Self-Sustaining Business Models

  • Scale: 7,500 m² Built Area / 6.4 Hectares of Technology Development Zone

The Architecture: A Self-Sustaining Synergy

Designed a 7,500 m² "one-stop-shop" model where every unit drives systemic growth:

  • Incubation Center: 900 m² space hosting 80 startups with a 3-year "zero-rent" growth strategy.

  • Atmosfer TTO: Engineered the operational framework to transform academic research into market-ready intellectual property (IP).

  • Support Ecosystem: Integrated on-site legal and financial partners to professionalize startups from day one.

Key Achievements

  • Pioneering Model: Successfully executed the first "Guided Project" in Turkish regional development history.

  • Regional Dominance: Established Teknopark İzmir as the primary destination for technology-driven entrepreneurship in the region.

  • Ecosystem Maturity: Designed the end-to-end journey that allows a student idea to scale into a funded startup through structured mentorship and infrastructure.
